Honing is a precision machining process used to improve the form and finish of cylindrical bores.
Using abrasive stones on a rotating spindle which are pressed against the surface of the bore. Honing removes material to achieve the desired diameter, roundness and surface texture.
This makes it ideal for high accuracy and smooth finishes.
