Available in two versions, the ROBBI LYOR M range, in standard configuration clamps the component which allows the hydraulic expanding honing head to rotate and reciprocate inside the bore of the part in the traditional manner.
Where a greater accuracy of the finished and honed bore and high productivity is required, the ROBBI LYOR S range provides two spindle variants with a 15.0kW, second component rotating spindle. Along with the honing head rotating, the second spindle rotates the component in the opposite direction to the honing head.
The ROBBI Lyor Honing Machines are renowned for their robustness and efficiency, designed to handle a wide range of honing tasks with precision. These horizontal honing machines feature a hydraulic cylinder that controls the honing head movement, ensuring smooth and accurate operations. Powered by a three-phase electric motor controlled by a vector inverter, the machines offer high torque and significant stock removal capabilities. The Lyor series is built across to platforms and includes models with single or dual spindles .
The Lyor series accommodates bore diameters from 20 to 400 mm and tube lengths up to 7000 mm.
The machines are equipped with advanced features such as a touch-screen interface for easy programming, a hydraulic expansion system for precise stone pressure regulation, and a cooling system to manage heat dispersion.
