04 November 2020
As the UK enters the new National restrictions in England on the 5th November 2020, we would like to make you aware that RK is closely monitoring on the latest restrictions regarding Coronavirus as issued by the UK Government.
As a supplier of machine tools, to a wide range of essential industries, RK remains open throughout the latest restrictions and we will continue to support our customers who rely on the products we supply.
As with all responsible employers, our top priority is the safety of our employees, their families and customers. Those colleagues who fall into the ‘High Risk’ category are now working from home.
RK International is still welcoming visitors to RK to view machinery etc, and this is subject to all visits being pre-arranged.
With a 10,000sq ft plus facility, RK has the ability to comfortably provide social distancing for visitors, but there are a number of points that we have introduced to protect everybody.
On arrival, all visitors will be asked to wear a face covering, shown hand washing facilities and hand sanitising stations are positioned throughout our facility. Disposable gloves are also available should you wish to use these.
You will also be asked to scan the NHS Track and Trace QR code on arrival. This can be downloaded prior to your visit by clicking here.
RK International Machine Tools remains as COVID-19 secure facility and your assistance and co-operation in maintaining this status is greatly appreciated.
Should you require a visit from an RK International Machine Tool Service Engineer, in advance of the visit, you will be asked to sign a declaration confirming that your facility is suitably equipped, and COVID-19 Secure for the safety of an RK Service Engineer. You will also be provided with Risk Assessment and COVID-19 Secure certificate detailing how an RK International will conduct themselves during the visit.
RK International has full confidence in the ability of our colleagues and, together, we can work together in safe conditions.
We thank you for your continued support and stay safe.
